A BIOGRAPHY OF JAMES (JIM) CICCOLO
Jim Ciccolo is a native Californian, and a seventh generation Los Angeleno.
Jim grew up in Pacific Palisades and moved to New York then Boston until his early teens. Upon returning to Southern California, he lived in Los Angeles proper, and Newport Beach. His college days were spent at USC, where he majored in Romance Languages, specifically Spanish and Portuguese, in both of which he is fully fluent.
Obtaining his Real Estate Broker’s license in his late teens, he began his career in tract sales (specifically condominiums) for his initial foray into Real Estate. Later, he expanded into Single Family, Multi-family, and Commercial.
In the latter part of the 20 th Century, Jim took on the challenges of Mortgage Financing, where he worked for two decades, both as an originator and managing for national companies within the Pasadena and Los Angeles metropolitan areas.
Returning to USC, where he studied both Architecture and Urban Planning, he also returned to Real Estate sales, achieving strong sales in Downtown Los Angeles, and Newport Beach.
Recently, Jim relocated to San Luis Obispo County, where he is continuing with his first love, residential real estate. As an Associate with San Luis Bay Realty, he sees great things in a part of California that he has quickly embraced as his “forever” home inhabited by hard-working and generous individuals who love where they live and work. He has been fortunate to develop strong friendships and relationships which sustain and provide a foundation for success and happiness in this beautiful spot on this beautiful earth.
In his spare time, he can be seen playing golf, cooking, gardening, and tussling with his other penchant, as a rescuer of purebred English and Italian Mastiffs.
